Job Title: HVAC Apprentice - Commercial Construction\n

Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Commercial Construction team as a Sheet Metal Apprentice for projects in Charlottesville and surrounding areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the HVAC\/Sheet Metal trade while providing high-quality installs to our commercial clients. As an apprentice, you will work under the guidance and supervision of experienced mechanics and leaders, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in commercial HVAC\/Sheet Metal systems and the installation process involved with new construction projects.\n

Responsibilities:\n\nAssist experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics in installing HVAC\/duct systems in commercial buildings.\nLearn and follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.\nGather, retrieve, deliver, and organize material in specific job site areas.\nAbility to read a tape measure\nAbility to use hands to control tools\nAbility to work from ladders, scaffolding, and lifts\nAbility to work in cramped and awkward spaces at times\nGreat personality, positive attitude, sense of humor, and a tremendous work ethic\n\n

Requirements:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nStrong interest in the trades and a desire to learn and develop new skills.\nGreat personality, positive attitude, sense of humor, and a tremendous work ethic\nExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.\nGood physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nCommitment to safety and following established protocols.\nPre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed.\n\n
