Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Human Resources Senior Analyst collects and analyzes available data to provide the status of important HR dimensions, highlight challenges, and report progress in recruitment, development, retention, and workforce performance while leading change, controlling activities, and supporting the functional administration and configuration of the Human Resources systems. You will report to the People Analytics Team Lead.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Primary Tasks:
1. You will collect and analyze relevant human capital data to provide summary reporting and important metrics for leadership.
2. You will provide expertise on system and human capital impacts when discussing and developing new business processes with all partners.
3. You will translate raw data into usable information in the development of overall strategic goals of HR department and Choctaw Nation.
4. You will collaborate with partners to gain understanding of unique requirements, provide support tasks, configure setups, and create or revise existing documentation guidelines.
5. You will collaborate with partners to identify inefficiencies and recommend changes and improvements on HR related issues.
6. You will create training/presentations for HR related topics across the Choctaw Nation.
7. You will collaborate with partners to provide understanding and awareness of available reporting and identification of reporting gaps.
8. You will collaborate with the HR team in the development and balance of guidelines and systems to encourage best practices within the CNO.
9. You will review work generated by HR Analysts to ensure accuracy and proper interpretation of data.
10. Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience or four years related experience.
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills including, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and higher-level functions in Excel such as Pivot Tables and Power Query
· Advanced technical skills in data analysis, SQL, and proficiency in HRIS systems (ORACLE)
· Ability to maintain confidential salary and personal information
· Ability to identify and analyze trends from periodic data and depict relationships graphically over time
· Three (3) years of broad functional experience in HR
