Our client I the Manufacturing Industry is looking to hire a Human Resources Officer.

Key Performance Areas

·         Work with department heads to development and maintain a live recruitment matrix which responds to all recruitment positions.

·         Coordinate placement of job advertisements

·         Screening of CVs and shortlisting of candidates.

·         Arranging of interviews including preparation of interview packs.

·         Minute taking during interviews and documentation of the whole process.

·         Preparing and submission of recruitment reports timeously.

·         Ensures that all new employees have clear background checks.

·         Administer all related activities of the recruitment process.

·

Administration of HR Activities

·         Work closely with department heads to develop job description and ensure these are relevant and are updated to address the current context.

·         Monthly update of Staff List, Organogram, vacancies, and other HR activities.

·         Assist with coordination of Performance Reviews.

·         Assist in designing templates for HR processes.

·         File all necessary records-keeping all documentation up to date so that audits do not find missing documentation.

Regular Reporting, Compliance and record Keeping.

·         Regular reporting of HR activities to ensure that issues are addressed timeously.

·         Ensures that all monthly activities are reported on time.

·         Ensure necessary approvals for all documentation.

·         Adhere to all set deadlines for HR reporting.

·         Performs any other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor.

·         Ensure that regular backups of data are completed.

Minimum Education Experience and Skills Requirements

·         A Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in HR is most preferable.

·         Minimum 5 years’ work experience in HR Administration.

·         Good knowledge and understanding of South African Legislation relevant to HR.

·         Must have knowledge of VIP Payroll and ESS.

·         Registration with South African Board of Personnel Practitioners will be advantageous.

·         A professional individual who can deal with highly confidential matters.

·         Must be a very well organised and deadline driven individual.

·         A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to perform under extreme pressure and take initiative in resolving problems.

·         Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

·         Must be a South African national with fluency in English (written and spoken)

·         A valid SA drivers’ licence and must be willing to travel company.
