Summary
The Human Resources (HR) Manager will provide consultative support and partnership to the leaders and colleagues at the Decatur, IL Corn Plant  to drive critical human capital initiatives and associated business results. This role leads activities and ensures successful achievement of objectives related to colleague engagement, workforce management, performance management, talent development, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, communications, and change management. The HR Manager impacts overall business performance and colleague engagement by providing strategic, creative, and collaborative leadership across assigned facilities and positions. Further, this role diagnoses issues and opportunities proactively and takes necessary action to bring timely resolution. To be successful, the individual in this role must influence operations leaders and build strong, cross-functional relationships. In addition, this person must have knowledge of the HR functions and associated HR policies, approaches, and environmental constraints, as well as relevant HR laws and regulations. This role is critical to ADM as it aligns HR strategy plans and helps leaders implement plans within specific sites.

What We’re Looking ForRequired to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the assigned facilities.May be asked to work mornings, afternoons, nights, and/or weekends based on the needs of the facility.Must work in a manufacturing/distribution/warehouse environment with the physical and environmental aspects typically associated with such environment.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and work experience in a related field)AND 6 years of HR experience with increasing levels of responsibility WITH at least 4 years of experience -As HR generalist experience across multiple disciplines (e.g., workforce planning talent acquisition, career development) while interpreting and applying HR policies, procedures, programs and processesIn leadership capacity with or without direct report responsibilityIn a cross-functional team environment with exempt and non-exempt staffProficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelPreferred QualificationsMasters Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field2 years’ experience working in multiple locations with remote teams1 year in leadership capacity with or without direct report responsibility3 years’ experience managing a cross-functional team with exempt and non-exempt staff in union and non-union capacitiesExperience developing, adapting, and/or facilitating trainingExperience actively serving as a strategic business partner for other parts of the organizationRelevant professional certifications (e.g. Professional in Human Resources)Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse line of businessExcited about this role but don’t meet every requirement listed?
