JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Under general supervision, serves as a primary contact for HR related matters at Edwards AFB, CA. The Human Resource Manager will collaborate with leadership to shape our long-term vision and drive transformative HR initiatives in a dynamic and evolving environment. Demonstrate exceptional leadership, decision-making, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, alongside a comprehensive understanding of HR functions. Uses established policies and procedures and subject matter knowledge to support, or individually perform, a variety of specialized administrative services, that may include:
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee relations, performance management, compensation practices, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws (FMLA, EEO, ADA, OSHA, etc.). Leads and supports implementation of core HR programs into the business insuring an effective, sustainable people strategy over the long term. Provides counsel to both management and employees to resolve employee relations issues/situations. Engages within and outside HR employees and leaders to build relationships and networking resources. Researches and ensures compliance to all applicable federal, state and municipal regulations. Partners with management and employees regarding HR leave programs. (i.e. FMLA, Workers Compensation, ADA, ADM, etc.) Supports management on inclusion efforts including Affirmative Action Plans. Assists with the development and rollout of company policy and guidelines. Assists management staff with the application and interpretation of human resources policies, legal and contract compliance, performance problems, transfers, terminations and promotions. Assists with on-boarding and off-boarding activities (administration, interviews, etc.). Participates in education, communication, implementation and training for all HR-related programs. Monitors employee climate to identify issues/trends; recommends proactive solutions based on business needs / best practices and counsels managers on identifying issues and implementing corrective actions. Conducts objective investigations into general employment matters and in response to EEOC, NLRB, DOL investigations (to include federal and state agency responses). Partners with the Management team to meet recruitment objectives and recommends initiatives to reduce employee losses. Provide daily leadership to the HR team Must be empathetic and understanding employees' needs and concerns to create a positive workplace environment. Act with a high degree of professional ethics; positive attitude, unquestionable integrity, trustworthiness and sense of fairness with the ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels. Develops and maintains human resources metrics to meet monthly reporting requirements. Prepares specialized HR reports to assist with Program Management initiatives. Stay current with changing HR & employment trends, ensure compliance with all California labor laws, regulations, and company policies related to employee relations, compensation and workplace safety. Experience with ADP Enterprise HR System Experience with California employment laws Sound and up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and best practices in all aspects of HRREQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Business Administration or Human Resources is required and at least 9 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of formal training and related work experience.In addition, the HR Manager should possess the following requirements:
Possess good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications and ability to perform detail-oriented work. The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills, be able to work under deadlines, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and possess a valid state issued driver's license.SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $95,203 to $135,262 annually.Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting to 30 pounds, constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must be able and willing to work duty days in excess of eight hours and perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands. This position may require travel.
