Job DescriptionThe Human Resources Leader in Development will support the Vice President of People & Culture and Corporate Directors of Human Resources in the corporate office. This position is responsible for providing high-level administrative support, coordinating HR initiatives, and ensuring seamless communication within the HR function.
Additionally, this role will participate in the Human Resources Leader in Development (LID) Program, a structured career development initiative designed to provide hands-on HR experience, leadership training, and exposure to various HR functions across the hotel organization.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses excellent communication skills to effectively support the HR team in delivering an exceptional associate experience.
This position is based in Dallas, TX at the Omni Corporate Office.
Responsibilities Provide administrative assistance to the VP of People & Culture and Corporate HR Directors.Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.Prepare reports and correspondence for HR leadership.Create visually engaging and informative PowerPoint presentations for leadership updates, training sessions, and company-wide HR communications.Maintain HR documents, records, and confidential files.Assist in planning and executing HR-related meetings, events and training sessions.Organize and track HR initiatives, ensuring timely follow-ups and completion.Collect, analyze, and compile HR data into monthly reports on key metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.Serve as a liaison between the corporate HR team and hotel properties.Assist with HR projects Assist with coordination of HR meetings held at the OSC, HRD Onboarding, Area HRD meeting and Predictive Index. Maintain HR databases and systems Coordinate associate engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and wellness activities.Support special HR projects and initiatives that align with business and people strategy goals.Leader in Development (LID) Program Participation
Rotate through various HR disciplines, including Recruiting, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, and Compensation & Benefits.Gain hands-on experience in hotel-based HR operations to develop a well-rounded understanding of hospitality HR management.Participate in leadership training, mentorship sessions, and professional development workshops. Qualifications An Associate’s degree or higher is required, preferably in Hospitality Management.Flexible schedule required, with the ability to work 47.5 hours per week as needed.Willingness to relocate upon completion of the program to facilitate timely promotion into a management role.Previous experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset; demonstrates a sincere, helpful, and friendly demeanor.Projects enthusiasm, professionalism, and a positive attitude in all interactions.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to create polished, high-quality presentations.Experience using Canva or similar design tools to develop visually compelling presentations, reports, and HR communications.
