Human Resources Generalist

Our client, a privately held, third-party logistics (3PL) company is looking to hire an HR Generalist for their location in Middletown, PA. The ideal candidate will need at least 2 years of experience in an HR generalist role or similar experience for this position. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service to employees and managers, responding to inquiries, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner. Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including paperwork, benefits enrollment, and orientation. Occasional travel required (approximately 1 day per month) to our office in New Jersey for meetings and training.

The Day-to-Day:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records, including employee files, attendance records, and benefits information.Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment, benefit changes, and plan administration.Conduct new hire orientations and provide training on company policies and procedures.Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives to promote employee engagement and retention.Collaborate with management to resolve employee conflicts and conduct investigations as needed.Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Assist with special projects as assigned by the HR Manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (HR certification preferred).Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software systems quickly.

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$50 to $60k /per yrMonday to Friday8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
