Job Summary: The Human Resouces Generalist will assist with Human Resource responsibilities and activities related to the staffing and onboarding processes, employee relations, compliance, and admin. + As a key player Saliense, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our workforce thrives. You'll conduct background checks and employment verifications, support seamless onboarding for new hires, and create engaging new hire orientation and recognition programs. + You'll also be at the forefront of our commitment to employee growth, tracking and documenting training and assessments. You'll handle inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, providing guidance on a wide range of HR matters. + Your presence will be crucial in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, ensuring that our workplace remains respectful and inclusive. We count on you to uphold federal, state, and local employment laws, and you'll play a key role in maintaining our policies and practices to the highest standards. + Staying ahead of the curve, you'll keep us informed about HR trends, best practices, and evolving technologies. Plus, you'll contribute to our benefits offerings, working closely with leadership and providers to select and administer plans, facilitate benefits selections, and resolve enrollment issues. + Your commitment to maintaining compliance with legal requirements will be invaluable as you manage personnel records and swiftly process employee status changes. Routine HR tasks will be a breeze in your capable hands. + Lastly, you'll maintain our employee handbook and company policies, keeping them up-to-date with relevant information and ensuring that employee termination paperwork, including exit interviews, is handled professionally. Required Skills/Abilities: + Bachelor’s degree in HR-related field. + 1-2 years of experience working in an HRIS like ADP. + Minimum of 1 year of experience working within the government contracting industry. + Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. + Detail-oriented as well as excellent organizational and time management skills. + Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. + Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. + Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
