Overview BASIC FUNCTION: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting a variety of duties within the Human Resources department including, but not limited to: reporting, filing, assisting with the recruiting process, benefit administration, training and compliance tracking. Scheduled hours may vary based on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime or reduced hours in order to properly support overall operations. We’re always ready to lend a helping hand, as such, you would be required to perform other tasks and duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE High school graduate or equivalent. Preferably one-year Human Resource experience in full life cycle recruitment and preferably in a hospitality environment. Two-year associates or Four-year bachelors degree in a Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent business experience preferred. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with leadership of all levels. Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, detail oriented and self-starter a must! Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook, standard office equipment and social media savy. Exceptional organization and time-management skills with strong adherence to deadlines. Professional presence; exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual preferred Qualifications ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Coordinate day to day administrative operations of the Human Resources Department functions and duties. Greet applicants and provide them with information regarding the employment process. Greet employees and provide timely and professional customer service regarding inquiries and requests. Provide information and guidance related to property and employment guidelines. Assist leaders and provide guidance with ATS and HCM systems, Human Resources processes and other property administrative responsibilities related to leadership roles. Assist with conducting phone screens to potential candidates and schedule in person interviews with department managers as identified by the Director of Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition Manager. Assist with coordination of requisition management, candidate sourcing and social media presence as identified by the Director of Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition Manager. Assist with creating and updating all job postings through Company website and all external sources as identified by the Director of Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition Manager. Coordinate offer communications, background and reference checks through Human Resources systems as directed by the Director Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition Manager. Attend job fairs and assist in job fair coordination as needed. General office administration including office supply inventory, employee file maintenance, typing and other clerical support duties as needed. Pick up and process, in a timely manner, reports, invoices, verifications, bills and associated mail. Maintain and update I-9 information for all employees and run E-Verify report for hires. Notify the Director of Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition Manager of any outstanding I-9’s or E-Verify issues. Coordinate office processes related to unemployment, government inquiries, license tracking, injuries and time away from work, tracking and follow up regarding staff training and reviews. employee injuries and follow up with employees, Workers Comp carrier and OSHA log responsibilities under direction of the Director of Human Resources. Coordinate internal employee programs under direction of Director of Human Resources including referral and on-site discount programs, celebrations, information distribution and announcements, surveys, events and initiatives. Properly maintain information posting locations including required federal and state postings, as well as informational bulletin boards and other communication sites with up to date information as required and requested. Keep current with employment law, human resources policies and training requirements as related to Federal and State laws MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: Effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds Other duties as assigned by Human Resources Management, Resort Manager or General Manager.
