Job Description

As the Human Resource Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to drive meaningful improvements while supporting a dynamic and collaborative workplace. You will play a key role in leading orientation and onboarding activities for new hires across our Farmington Hills and Plymouth campuses. You will also serve as the site coordinator for domestic and international student programs (Interns/Co-Ops), ensuring a seamless experience for participants.

Your key responsibilities will also include:

Enhance existing HR structures and processes through digital solutions and automation.Coordinate HR activities, including communications, meetings, programs, and other site support initiatives.Partner with leaders and associates to foster positive workplace relationships.Provide data-driven insights to improve performance, retention, and associate engagement.Align HR strategies with business goals to enhance organizational effectiveness.Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the business and HR team.

To be successful in this role you must have:

Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.Effective negotiation and influencing skills.Experience developing, building, and maintaining strong business partnerships.Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.Effective leadership, communication, organizational, and change management skills.Able to balance multiple priorities and projects simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business.Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as ability to work independently and self-directed.Integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree. 6 months of professional Human Resources experience (including internship experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Organizational Management, or Business.Process oriented with continuous improvement focus.Proven analytical skills.Proactive, able to adapt, flexible, self-motivated and self-starter.Experience interfacing with internal customers.Experience working in a matrixed, global corporation.
