We have a four-month co-op opportunity available for a Georgian College student in either the HRMN or BAHR program.  In this role, you will assist our Talent Acquisition team in various recruitment activities as Raytheon ELCAN continues to grow.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work closely with Talent Acquisition team on the full recruitment cycle processDevelop and maintain strong relationships with Hiring ManagersConduct screening and interviewsPrepare new hire documentation using existing templatesSupport onboarding when requiredIdentify and develop process improvements and work instructions with a continuous improvement and efficiency mindsetPerform other HR-related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

Enrollment in College or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fieldCompletion of one prior internship/work term in a Human Resources or Business-related requiredWorking towards Human Resources designation, 2nd and 3rd year students preferred.Proven verbal and written communications skillsProfessional, responsive, and customer-focusedHigh attention to detailProficient computer skills in a variety of applicationsPositive attitude

This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian government’s Controlled Goods Program and the Contract Security Program.
