Job Description:

As a Human Resources Business Partner you will provide strategic human resources support, thought leadership and mentor to the corporate business functions at Allison Transmission. This role serves as a trusted advisor and flexible, change agent collaborating with employees, business leaders and the Centers of Excellence to deliver HR programs that are aligned with business goals. This role will be instrumental in creating a positive employee experience, driving process improvements, and implementing solutions to enhance performance and the end user experience.What You’ll Do:Partner with leaders to understand functional strategies and implement HR programs that support achievement of business goals.Provide HR direction, coaching, and team-building support to grow skills and competencies and develop high performing teams.Facilitate annual performance management processes by supporting SMART goal development, educating on process requirements and tools, and delivering effective feedback to increase employee development and strengthen performance.Support diversity and inclusion initiatives and create a welcoming, inclusive work environment.Lead change initiatives to accelerate employee engagement and promote a positive organizational culture that aligns with the Allison values and skills you’ll use every day.Work closely with the Talent Acquisition and RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) teams to develop strategic approaches to attract and retain top talent from both inside and outside the organization.Partner with business leaders to drive talent management initiatives including robust succession planning, growth plans for employee development and training. Lead and participate in HR projects, leveraging project management skills and project review board tools and processes to ensure execution and alignment with strategic goals.Review HR metrics, analyze trends and recommend actions to resolve people problems.Partner with Global People Relations to investigate and resolve employee relations matters.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.HR Certification preferred.3+ years of dynamic HR experience supporting programs and solutions delivery in fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. Global experience preferred. Previous experience with Workday preferred.Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Suite) required.
