As HR / Talent Manager , you will be responsible for all HR functions including employee relations, training and development, performance management and industrial relations:
Management of the HR team including HR Generalist, IR Lead, Training and Development Manager Lead the social committee and work within the annual budget to create a fun, open and transparent company culture Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and programs Support the performance management process by coordinating performance appraisals, goal setting, and feedback sessions Work closely with the Training and Development manager to implement Learnerships in the retail space and leverage off the WRSETA Employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, incentives, and employee benefits enrolment Prepare HR reports and analytics on key HR metrics, such as employee turnover, recruitment, training, and performance Ensure that any disputes between the employees and the employer are dealt with swiftly in conjunction with the IR Lead Ensure compliance with the EE Act Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources Management, Organizational Behaviour or Development, Organizational Psychology, or similar field Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role Good knowledge of labour legislation – LRA, BCEA (specifically employment contracts, employee leave and Unions) Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
