Job Responsibilities:

Job Summary: The HR Intern will focus on specific process improvement projects that directly support the 2025 Magna Strategy and Goals.

Scope of Projects:

Recruiting and onboarding processWorking on creative ways to increase onboarding efficienciesProcessing new hires through the HRIS systemsCreating proposals on retention ideasMarketing Magna for different demographicsTrainingParticipating in orientation trainingPresenting the HR slides to new hiresObserving production assistant/supervisor meeting on leadership developmentCreating their own training and presenting to the supervisorSystems Audit/FilingMagna has an annual IFTS internal audit we prepare forWorking through the check lists and validating appropriate documentation is included in each personnel file.If documentation is missing, processing the completion to maintain compliance with audit.

Experience and General Skills Required:

Strong written and verbal communication skillsProven organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks and projects.Marketing skills that can translate to multiple demographicsCreative solutions and critical thinking ability to adapt to multiple challengesPositive interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism at all times

Education Requirements:

The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communication, or Business.Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year or enrolled in a graduate program. 

Internship Details & Schedule: This is a paid onsite internship to be completed over the summer of 2025. The timetable of this internship is flexible, depending upon candidate needs. Candidates that are seeking full-time employment upon graduation are encouraged to apply.
