The HRG job entails providing comprehensive support to day-to-day operations of human resources ensuring the efficient delivery of weekly and monthly HR reports, recruitment processes, and the accuracy of employee data records. The HRG liaises closely with human resources department and other departments throughout the organization providing a customer focused and effective HR support service to the organization to achieve the organization goals and objectives. As a Human Resource Generalist, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to: + Manage the electronic communication of the site’s CTV and bulletin boards. Post monthly announcements and update content, as necessary. + Prepare and distribute monthly HC reports and newsletters + Support all Employee Engagement activities at the facility (birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, monthly events. + Post and recruit for open hourly/salaried roles + Spend daily time on DC floor walking and engaging with employees. + Manage/update occurrences updates in Kronos with documentation from supervisors. + Responsible for tracking the performance review process with supervisors by sending reminder notifications and updating the system when completed + Assist in the maintenance of term file, locker assignment files, open temporary positions files etc. + Prepare and post job advertisements, screening applications, arranging interviews, conduct phone screenings, and administering pre-employment tests as required. + Maintain applicant tracking sheet + Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires. Prepare offer letters, review new hire paperwork, provide badge, create new hire personnel files. + Conduct new hire orientation. + Assist employees and managers regarding questions on leave management, benefits, payroll and other HR procedures and policies. + Manage sensitive and confidential information regarding, HRIS data, employee relations, organizational changes while protecting the security of information and files. + Champion the health and wellness activities for site. Coordinate flu clinics, biometric screenings, mammogram bus, health fair and other activities as assigned. + Coordinate staff training events or programs and recommending resources, as needed. + Assist with handling associate inquires and issues. + Interact with and supply information to employees, department heads, and job applicants, as needed. + Maintain employee file records up-to-date by handling changes in employee status. Prepare paperwork to create new employee profile + Maintain physical employee files, both personnel and medical files + Help in maintenance of employee directory, site calendar and company organizational charts. + Other duties as assigned **The Person:** You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions.
