Human Resource Business Partner (Full Time) - Mississauga, ON or Edmonton, AB
Primary Purpose:
The role would serve as a HR business partner to our Merchant and On-site Business Group. The individual is responsible for building people and organizational capability in line with the business objectives. Partnering with assigned management clients to (1) improve the business / HR strategic partnership, (2) organizational bench strength (3) employee engagement and (4) HR capability and productivity. Providing strategic and tactical services necessary for the recruitment, selection, assignment, performance management, and training and development of qualified employees.
Key Accountabilities:
Improve consistency and transparency of talent management, building line manager capability to identify talent, have transparent conversations and drive developmentOrganization Development: Drive developmental initiatives like engagement surveys, open communication forums, skip meetings to check the pulse of employeesDirect region efforts that include local recruiting and hiring, training and employee relations programsProvide consulting service will include coaching, counseling and facilitation practices that lead to the resolution of employee relations issues and will enable Linde to operate their business in a team-based environmentAssist in performance management, disability management and investigation of issues and incidentsEnsure compliance with all Company policies procedures as well as all relevant governmental regulations, including Pay and Employment Equity etc.Evaluate, plan and implement positive employee relations programs and activitiesDevelop deliver employee training and development programsAct as a liaison between employees and centralized employee services groupWorking Environment:
Travel to regional, national and/or global Linde offices is required as necessary
