Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement people strategy through the execution of HR processes. Each day, you will provide HR support for our Columbus, MS Plant, by partnering with respective managers. You will also showcase your expertise by representing HR in the business and establishing strong relationships with all business leaders and employees.The work model for the role is: #LI - OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion NEMA Motors division in Columbus, MS. Main stakeholders are our Employees, Managers and the company as a whole.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tEnsuring an effective overall HR contribution and value-add to the business in partnership with the functions and Shared Services.•\tSupporting the business and the execution of HR processes involved across the end-to-end employee lifecycle by determining and delivering the best approach in the area of responsibility and executing the HR priorities while adding value to the business.•\tPartnering with respective managers to develop and implement people strategies.•\tFacilitating change management initiatives and driving behavior change & continuous improvement across the respective business area / area of responsibility.Our team dynamicsYou will join a high performing, union-free team, where you will be able to contribute, support, develop, and thrive.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Management is preferred. Candidates with Masters or Bachelors in other fields of study will be considered, depending on years of relevant work experience.8 -10 years of human resource management is preferred but a combination of experiences in other relevant fields such as direct supervision, operations management, employment and training, leadership development, recruiting, etc. will be considered.Possessing experience in maintaining a union-free environment is a strong plus.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
