Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement people strategy through the execution of HR processes, ensuring effective and sustainable workplace relations, and providing HR support for a defined team or location, by partnering with respective managers. You will also showcase your expertise by monitoring the implementation of change initiatives with effective communication, engagement, and collaboration across the organization. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybridThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries covering SEA Countries and based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tUnderstanding and contributing to the overall business and people strategy.•\tTaking accountabilities for the overall HR contribution and value-add to the business in partnership with the functions and Shared Services.•\tDetermining and delivering the best approach in the area of responsibility and executing the HR priorities while adding value to the business.•\tEnsuring effective communication, engagement, and collaboration across the organization.•\tFacilitating the change management initiatives and driving behavior change & continuous improvement across the respective business area / area of responsibility.•\tSupporting the business and the execution of HR processes involved across the end-to-end employee lifecycle.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.Minimum 12-15 years of HR experience in a senior role with a proven track record, preferably as an HR Generalist.Demonstrated experience and expertise in strategic HR work, talent acquisition, talent management and development, performance management, and D&I initiatives. Experience having already covered across multiple countries (minimum 2-3) with a very good understanding and sensitivities of various cultural nuances.Demonstrates excellent employee management skills and proven hands-on experience with HR tools and software.Sound knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.Possessing good verbal and non-verbal communication skills, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience working in European or American MNCs within a matrix reporting structure, and willingness to travel and work from different countries (e.g., 1 week a month or every 2 months from Jakarta office.
