Hub Sales Acceleration

Job Description:

International Division (InDi), is in Royal Canin the unit dedicated to the development of sales worldwide through a network of importers (80 markets, 120 million € NSV/year, 6 factories)

International Division has a clear transformation project to accelerate and develop local business through the creation of 4 Hubs across the globe.

This Sales Acceleration job, that will be sitting in each of the 4 newly created Hub Areas, will help the International Division drive strategic business and marketing planning, deliver Hub Areas sales target and further develop commercial excellence and governance across our set of importers.

What are we looking for?

The International Division (InDi) is a unique & pivotal area for future development of Royal Canin/Eukanuba and its mission is to accelerate importers business model transformation in a constellation of countries 80 active countries.

This Sales Acceleration position will help the International Division drive strategic business and marketing planning, deliver Hub Areas sales target and further develop commercial excellence and governance across our set of importers.

Education & Professional Qualifications

Bachelor of Commerce degree/any Business-related degree with a Bias to Sales and MarketingFluent in written and spoken English

Knowledge / Experience

Confident decision maker with the ability to lead conversations and negotiations with customersCustomer focused and financially aware personAbility to plan, travel, be efficient with customers visits and meetingsIT literate with experience of MS Office, Excel & PowerPointAn enthusiastic self-starter with a can-do attitude, positive growth outlook and open to different cultures / business environmentsExperience in navigating complex environment, quickly adapt to changing and challenging situationsBackground within FMCG is a plus.5 -10 years Sales/Key Account management experience.Proven analytical and leadership skills as well as a strong business acumen.Proven Negotiation and selling skillsStrategic Revenue Management exposureAdvanced communication skillsConflict management experienceExperience on S&OP Process / Procedures

What will be your key responsibilities?Strategic planning

Develop and execute the strategic plan for Hub markets to achieve and strive to exceed sales targets.

Prepare and own the Business and Marketing plans for Hub Area most relevant customers

Deliver Hub Area Sales Target

Monitoring and accountability for annual Hub Area sales target

Manage existing countries scope

Prospection to expand Royal Canin brand footprint

S&OP+ cycle: DMR owner for the Hub

Sales Acceleration

Develop a Sales acceleration strategy

Use the proper sales acceleration tools and solutions

Train Importers sales reps

Monitor and measure results

Commercial Excellence

Execute a structured selling process with a good understanding of supporting sell through.

Provide support to importers to develop sales skills and efficiency: Customer classification & segmentation, Must Have List, Numerical Distribution, steps of the visit, perfect store fundamentals, QTT

Provide support to importers to maintain a strong and effective brand presence, including appropriate scientific communication, POS merchandising and online media guidelines
