HSEQ Coordinator - Western Region
Reporting to the Regional HSEQ Manager, this role will provide support in the day-to-day management of the HSE activities across several operations within our business, including our Concrete plants, Quarries, Workshops, Laboratories, and customer sites where required.
This role will suit a hands-on, team orientated, practical thinking and self-motivated individual that would like to further their HSEQ career in the Construction Materials Industry. The successful applicant will be open to work across various times due to operational requirements and be able to travel between sites in all parts of the region during the working week.
In your new role, you will:
Provide advice and coaching to site/operational managers in the identification, assessment and control of risks in line with the contents of the Integrated Risk Management Systems (IRMS)Identify and report on internal system non-conformances and support stakeholders on the continuous improvement journeyAssist with the delivery of training related to site HSEQ activities in line with the National training planAssist with record keeping of employee & contractor training, competency assessments, skills & qualifications.Assist in the investigation of incidents or near misses.Assist and support Site Leaders in the delivery of Risk related materials at site meetings.Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal system and legal obligations and requirements.Analyze data and provide recommendations around areas of non-compliance to internal and external requirements.Raise events within the HSEQ database to ensure close out of gaps identified from verifications.
