Keller is looking for an experienced Safety Coordinator based out of our Irvine, CA location. Applicants must be willing to relocate to the Orange County or Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Assisting with directing safety and environmental hazard activities for the regionAssisting with ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local safety and environmental regulationsConducting routine safety inspections as directed by the Regional Safety ManagerReporting inspection results to the Regional Safety ManagerAssisting with acquiring resources for corrective action when neededConducting and following up with safety inspections to ensure closure of items identified as unsafe, defective or non-compliantFacilitating training for employees on a variety of safety and environmental topics as neededAssisting in the development, implementation and enforcement of Company Safety Policies and ProceduresCompleting and/or assisting with incident investigations. Qualifications

Qualifications:

BS Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, or related discipline preferred1-2 year’s hands on experience in Safety preferredConstruction industry experience preferredBilingual a plusRegional Travel required

Additional Information

Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

 

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
