HSE Specialist

We are looking for a HSE SPECIALIST to join our team. 
Based in the City of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, reporting to the HSE COORDINATOR, you will be responsible for verification of compliance with local, state, federal law, and corporate policy in regard to safety, health and environment. Also, you will have the responsibility and authority to carry out all activities related to HSE, these activities must comply with ISO-45001 standards / ISO14001 standards, IATF standards 1649:2016, environment operations, legal requirements by Mexican law and corporate policies. 
Main Responsibilities 
•    Assisting in the coordination of activities and procedures related to HSE
•    Coordinate the management and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with legal requirements.
•    Comply with the requirements of the Environmental Health and Safety Management System.
•    Identify and control the provisions of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste, to comply with Environmental requirements.
•    Maintain SEMARNAT, CEDES, CIVIL PROTECTION, STPS records.
•    Assisting in the compliance of STPS regulations.
•    Evaluation of health, environmental, and Safety conditions.
•    Audits in the development of good safety, health, and environmental practices.
•    Control, investigation, and documentation of accidents.
•    Collaborate in compliance with IATF 16949:2016 and ISO-45001/ISO-14001 standards. Environmental, health and safety operations and activities must comply with the standards of ISO-45001/ISO 14001.
•    Assist in the implementation, monitoring and recertification of the ISO 45001/ISO 14001 system.
•    Assuring that safety talks and BBS audits are taking place
•    Comply with the requirements of the Environmental, health and safety Management System.
•    Collaborate in carrying out management reviews on ISO-45001/ISO 14001.
•    Assisting in the compliance of external audits
•    Job Safety Analysis
