HSE Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-OnsiteGlobal relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings factory in Nogales. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tReporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.•\tFacilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.•\tProviding feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.•\tSupporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.Our team dynamicsYou will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

\tYou have a bachelor’s degree completed in engineering related to the industry field.\tYou are easy to communicate in English in an intermediate level.\tIf you have experience in certifications is a plus.\tIf you have experience leading a team formally or informally is an asset.
