HSE Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification in Ramos Arizpe. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tReporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.•\tFacilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.•\tProviding feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.•\tSupporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, sustainability engineering or related.\tPersonnel management and leadership managing teams.\t2 - 3 years of experience in environmental area.\tMicrosoft Office (Excell).\tFully focused on the environmental area and environmental regulation.\tManagement of chemical substances.\tSewage treatment.\tEnvironmental standards and environmental legislation (ISO 14001).\tEnvironmental Protection.\tKnowledge in Sustainability.
