What You Will Do
The Hot Section Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated, proactive, goal oriented, and detail-focused project engineer for F135 Nozzle and 3BSM Module. The role of a Project engineer is to support the IPTL for program task execution for hardware while developing leadership skills to become a future IPTL at Pratt & Whitney. This role will provide opportunities for direct interfacing with engineering management, program management, suppliers and government customers. The selected candidate will work with a diverse team of individuals to meet requirements and achieve goals.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with IPTL and help lead one or more cross functional teams to meet task and technical requirementsIdentify and addresses project problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projectsFacilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectivesPrepare/present status and technical content to HSE Leadership, CIPT, and Pratt & Whitney Upper ManagementInitiate and manage hardware procurement/industrial effort as the engineering technical contactCoordinate evaluation and disposition of quality non-conformances and supplier requests for informationThe ability to travel 10% of the timeQualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering2 years of experience in engineering with a bachelor’s degree or an advanced degreeU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contractQualifications We Prefer:
Experience with nozzle or exhaust design and developmentThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearanceDemonstrated effectiveness in working across functions, organizations, and managementExcellent communication skills, including verbal, technical writing, and engineering presentations to all levelsWorking proficiency with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, MS Project / scheduling software, and project managementWhat We Offer

Hot Section Engineering (HSE)
Hot Section Engineering is responsible for the design, development, technology maturation and in service support of all diffuser cases, combustors, turbines (vanes, blades, rotors and cases), augmenters (military), nozzles and associated fuel systems for all military, commercial and industrial engine models and radial auxiliary power units.
Technical disciplines in HSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Durability and Product Definition.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
