Strict adherence and compliance towards Company HSSSE policies (including ONE MAESTRO) with high quality of performance and compliance with REN/DG MEA HSE Guidelines, Rules, Procedures & specific regulations applicable to the area of activity at all times.Participate in the training program to acquire HSE knowledge and impart this training to colleagues as and when required by ManagementIn charge of the HSE onboarding and training of all new employees, contractors and Third parties within his/her perimeterReporting of near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within the time frame as required by DG MEAParticipate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as and when required.
Strict adherence to Company and BU HSE requirements with full authority to stop any operations for safety reasons.
The HSE Manager Senegal will be in charge of:
Ensure HSE objectives for the country are achieved. Support and encourage the establishment of a HSE culture within the perimeter through a proactive attitude (training, HSE site visits, HSE meetings and incentive actions, etc.), stop dangerous situations, report anomalies and dangerous acts.Support and contribute to the implementation of ONE MAESTRO requirements and action plans within the countryContribute to Sustainab’ALL program in line with the Company ambitionsLead, monitor and implement the Company HSE policies, procedures, and program across the countrySupport the Technical and Operations managers in their HSE responsibilities for the countryEnsure compliance by all project contractors to relevant legislation and Company HSE requirements, with the full support of project managersCoordinate the qualification of new contractors on HSE point of view. Ensure HSE performance of contractors is reviewed during and after each project.Review HSE Plans, Procedures, Method Statements, Risk assessments for the projects, & Health, Safety & Environment related documentation to ensure compliance with Company, REN/DG/MEA and local requirements.Conduct frequent and regular inspections of construction sites and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) sites.Identify potential hazards & recommend solutions at all stages of projects, including design reviewMonitor the implementation of mitigation and control measures during construction and O&M phases.organize and conduct the HSE onboarding of new employees under his/her perimeter.Assist Project Managers to implement improvement & prohibition notice to contractors and set up recommendation & corrective actions.Lead investigations of incidents, and issue related HSE reports.Collect and report relevant information as per the standard reporting in place.
