ActivitiesThe HSE Co-Ordinator Role would require he/she to:
• Lead, monitor and implement the company’s H3SE policies, procedures and program across the country
• Deployment of all safety measures for contractors in all execution and operational sites, including performance of Safety green light, Life-saving checks, local HSE regulations compliance, etc
• Develop relevant H3SE procedures and templates in local languages, based on company procedures.
• Support Regional HSE Manager in his HSE responsibilities for the region
• Ensure compliance by all project contractors to relevant legislation and Group HSE requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with the company and REN/DG policies, procedures, guidelines, rules. Code of conduct compliance at all time
• Conduct Pre-Qualification for the new contractors & existing contractors once every two years from a HSE perspective
• Ensure HSE performance of contractors are reviewed after each project.
• Review HSE Plans, Procedures, Method Statements, Risk assessments for the projects, & all Health, Safety & Environment related documentation to ensure compliance with Group and local requirements.
• Conduct frequent and regular inspections of both construction sites and maintenance operations to check compliance to HSE plan and procedures.
• Identify potential hazards & recommend solutions at all stages of projects, including design review
• Assist Project Managers to implement improvement & prohibition notice to contractors and set up recommendation & corrective action.
• Lead investigations of incidents, and issue related HSE reports.
• Ensure proper HSE training of company staff, organize HSE promotion events such as World Day for Safety & Environment.
• Collect relevant information and report H3SE data and campaigns monthly.
• Organize Crisis Management, HSE Trainings.
Candidate Profile• 10 to 12 years of professional experience involving at least 5 years in a HSE and/or project management position.
• Rigour, zero compromise with HSE deviation ; Proven autonomy and ability to manage.
• Good English nd interpersonal skills and interaction with the key stakeholders.
