Where You Will Work
Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support our operations in finance, human resources, health and safety, information technology, planning, and more. Our flexible work program allows employees to work virtually as well as come together in person when needed at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. Employees can work remotely from most states in the U.S., with the exception of California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the position shift to in-person (office/site) work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time, so long as the position meets the established eligibility for these benefits.
DescriptionThis role supports HR teams by ensuring accurate payroll processing and effective resolution of pay-related issues. The position focuses on pay and time analysis, employee communication, and compliance, helping employees understand their pay details while coordinating with internal teams to manage overpayments and arrears efficiently.
Pay Analysis: Assist HR Service Center (HRSC) and HR teams with managing pay balances, deductions, and statement details. Analyzing ongoing deductions across multiple payroll cycles, including adjustments and retroactive pay. Employee Communication: Notify employees of overpayments or arrears, explain causes, and discuss repayment options clearly and with empathy.Time Analysis: Understand the interaction between time and attendance systems and payroll to explain pay details and address employee inquiries.Reporting & Insights: Generate and analyze reports to identify overpayments, arrears, and payroll discrepancies. Provide updates on collections, emerging issues, and process improvements.Time Recording Coordination: Work with Leave Management Specialists to ensure accurate time recording and proactively notify employees of potential overpayment risks.Collection Facilitation: Coordinate with payroll and other departments to streamline the collection of overpayments/arrears.Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements, assist with compliance inquiries, and maintain accurate records of overpayment cases and resolutions.Perform other duties as requestedQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED; ANDThree (3) years of experience as a customer service representative within a service center or similar position; including three (3) years of experience working with HR systemsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to simplify complex scenarios for clear understandingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and confidentialityProficiency in Microsoft Excel (moderate to advanced)Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with time administration systems, payroll processing, and payroll regulationsBilingual in English and SpanishCustomer service experience (both verbally and written)
Criteria/Conditions:
Position is remote with the possibility of working in a non-smoking office located in Phoenix, AZ from time to time Must be able to work in a secure and private are from home to protect the company’s (and our employee’s) confidential information.Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.What We Offer You
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $24.00 - $32.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits, or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
