Summary of This RoleEffectively maintains employee information that meets the organization's legal obligations and assists in human resource management and planning by recommending, developing and implementing new processes and analyses. Analyze data and prepare reports. Data managed may include personal information; job history; retirement and insurance documentation; leave accrual records; and details of illness, absences, transfers, and salary progression. Analyze data and prepare reports for management, to meet legal obligations, or for external agencies. Statistics analyzed may include employee demographics, skills inventory, absences, overtime, or employee turnover. Respond to enquiries from employees, managers and external agencies (such as government departments or insurers) about individual and organization-wide human resource information, without compromising the organization's standards of privacy and confidentiality.
What Part Will You Play?Supports Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) with a variety of administrative functions to include entering data into the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and other related systems, scanning documents and performing mail merges. Gathers, prepares, and processes various paper and electronic forms such as contract to permanent hires, change-of-status, and terminations. Checks Human Resource (HR) related forms and documents for completion (i.e. applications for vacation or leave of absence, new hire paperwork).Builds a familiarization with corporate policies and guidelines by reviewing and understanding the Team Member Guide and its function in HR work activities to perform tasks.Assists team members with basic HR questions or directs to appropriate personnel.Communicates team member events for lunch and learn sessions, health fairs, team appreciation week, etc., as directed.Prepares reports (Title VII, Civil Rights Act) for HRBP.What Are We Looking For in This Role?Minimum Qualifications
