Job DescriptionAre you passionate about driving HR operational excellence and process improvement? Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions (Veolia WTS) is seeking a detail-oriented HR Specialist/Controller to join our dynamic HR Operations Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle critical HR processes, provide responsive internal customer support, and contribute to region-wide initiatives.
As our HR Specialist/Controller, you will be at the forefront of executing HR-related transactional and administrative processes, including HR metrics. Your analytical skills and expertise will be instrumental in providing decision-makers with essential personnel information, supporting the optimization of personnel costs and budgets, and maximizing the efficiency of personnel programs.
Day-to-Day Duties:
• Provide dedicated support to the HR Operations Team, HRBPs, supervisors, and employees
• Manage employee lifecycle administration and transaction documentation
• Serve as the first point of contact for the CRM system and HR-related documentation
• Build, develop, and maintain HR and business-specific reporting and metrics
• Own key HR metrics and lead processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and contract modifications
• Act as the subject matter expert for HR systems, including HRConnect
• Maintain and develop HR policies
• Assist with special HR projects and initiatives
• Communicate with employees, managers, and external partners
• Support HR-related event organization and execution
Skills and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field, or industry experience
• Proven experience in HR administration, including reporting and employee lifecycle management
• Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and presentation abilities
• Proficiency in Google apps, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems (SAP and Oracle experience advantageous)
• Detailed knowledge of country-specific labor codes and regulations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and high-volume workload
• Experience working in a multinational, matrix organization
• Strong process orientation and problem-solving skills
• Passion for innovative HR solutions and continuous improvement
• Ability to work closely with senior management and build remote partnerships
