HR Specialist
General Description
+ The Specialist will partner with business lines, region liaison, HR and leaders to support the business through learning needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Will be the assigned resource to support our Regions training needs, you will work within the L&D unit in carrying out,
+ Deliver Retail Banking training programs and courses with an emphasis on software system implementation, customer service, banking products and services, policies, and procedures in our Regions as needed using various training methodologies and techniques to ensure maximum effectiveness.
+ Design and develop training content using different methodologies such as Instructor-Led, virtual, e-learning, simulations, quick reference guides, and infographics.
+ Maintain curriculum updated with SMEs to ensure compliance with corporate policy and procedures.
+ Build partnerships with Retail Division and OP Managers to bridge gaps in knowledge/skills and to enhance overall results.
+ Discuss in-class performance issues with the L&D Supervisor. May be involved in coaching discussions and/or corrective action processes if necessary.
+ Assess training effectiveness through learning survey results, business outcomes, management feedback.
+ Coordinate all training delivery logistics, including scheduling, audience identification, materials, attendance tracking and facilities. Coordinate with external and internal resources/facilitators all the scheduling for the assigned learning activities.
+ Effectively manage the relationship with external providers to ensure contracted services are delivered accordingly.
+ Plan, prepare and monitor the production of all training materials for each session.
+ Provide support to facilitators to ensure the learning experience occurs as designed.
+ Administer, score, record and report result of different course assessments as defined by internal processes and guidelines. Support the administration of the training courses and delivery through the LMS (Success Factors) according to the corporate centralized strategy.
+ Prepare reports and presentations of L&D key performance indicators (KPI’s) on a monthly and quarterly basis.
+ Other responsibilities may include management of invoices and program budget Collaborate on special projects at both corporate and business unit level as other duties needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others.
Minimum Education
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources. Master’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Engineering or Industrial Psychology is preferred.
Experience
+ Three (3) years of experience in capability building, process improvement, development and implementation of action plans, corporate/strategic level responsibilities and/or management consulting. Experience designing and facilitating training sessions (formal or informal) is desirable.
Certifications/ Licenses
+ Certifications in human resources, instructional design or project management are desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's)
+ Instructional design:Knowledge in developing content using practical adult learning methodologies
+ Computer and technological skills: Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word) and other presentation software. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (Success Factors is a plus). A level of proficiency in eLearning tools such as Articulate Studio/Storyline, and Rise is highly desirable.
+ Project Management: Ability to work with multiple projects and tasks with minimum supervision. Capacity to achieve results according to plan ensuring the expected quality. Excellent organization capacity to define priorities, meet deadlines, and flexible to change. Knowledge of project coordination, identification of business needs, work plan, budget control, time management, resource allocation, team management and status reports. Must demonstrate leadership, logic, and reasoning skills.
+ Operational/Regulations Processes: Knowledge on budget administration, resources allocation, organization’s policies, and regulations. Ability to establish, conduct and track operational processes properly, and implement changes.
