The HR Shared Services Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support within the HR shared services function for all regions MRI operates in. This role focuses on ensuring efficient and effective delivery of HR services, maintaining accurate employee records, and supporting HR initiatives and projects. The Coordinator will work closely with global HR teams, employees, and managers to address inquiries and facilitate HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Administration:Process and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Manage HR data entry and updates in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and termination letters where required. Typically these will be prepared, sent and housed within our HRIS.Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit interviews.Employee Support:Serve as a help desk/first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and managers.Manage global HR ticketing system/inbox, providing timely and accurate responses to HR queries and escalating issues as necessary.Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrolment, changes, and inquiries.Support employees with HRIS navigation and self-service functionalities.Compliance and Reporting:Ensure compliance with country, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for audits and reporting purposes.Generate and analyse HR reports and metrics to support HR initiatives and decision-making.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for improving HR processes and workflows.Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and employee experience.Collaborate with HR teams to implement best practices and standard operating procedures.Communication and Coordination:Coordinate HR communications and announcements to employees.Assist in organising HR events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities for your region.Work closely with HR colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment in HR practices and policies.Qualifications:
Skills and Competencies:Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.Proficient in using HRIS and other HR-related software.Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)We’re obsessed with making this the best job you’ve ever had!
