The Human Resources Specialist for the EMEA region will provide operational support related to the full spectrum of the associate life cycle . This position will report into the HR Operations Leader APAC & EMEA and work closely with the people leaders and associates to foster a vibrant, friendly work environment that promotes strong collaboration, creativity, high performance, and continuous learning. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive the following:
+ Own the Time management system Protime in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region to ensure all time tracking activities for associates are administered correctly, timely and in compliance with local labour laws.
+ Manage associate onboarding experience from pre-boarding to off-boarding such as administrative requirements, day one experience and first months follow-up to ensure a successful immersion experience.
+ Own reporting for HR compliance related topics including working with Finance, external tax authorities, and local labour filings. This will include internal and external audits.
+ Answer Associates questions related to leaves, compensation, time-tracking and HR Operations procedures.
+ Support associate benefits for EMEA team members and policy maintenance for the EMEA region.
+ Participate or lead projects related to the associate Life cycle
+ Responsible for HRIS data management in Workday and various payroll systems to ensure accurate associate pay practices.
+ Keep abreast with company policies, tax and social security legislation and legislation that might impact employment contracts, addendum's and compensation/payroll.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Minimum bachelor's degree, human resources or related field (required)
+ Minimum 4 years of experience in human resources
+ Strong knowledge of Belgian labour law, knowledge of labour law in other European countries is a plus
+ Fluent Dutch and English are mandatory
+ Utilize multiple HRIS systems including Workday and handling confidential data
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Experience supporting multiple countries in Europe
+ Lean or Six Sigma process improvement experience
+ Systems knowledge in Protime and Workday

+ This role requires to be onsite full time in our office in Leuven
