HR Manager Position – Full Time – Senior Management – Reporting to CEO
The HR Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all human resource functions within the organisation. Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational goals and fostering a positive and cohesive workplace culture.
Key responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection:
Management of the full recruitment process
Employee Onboarding and Training:
Developing and implementing comprehensive onboarding programs and training initiatives to integrate new employees and enhance their skills.
Performance Management:
Manage and enhance performance reviews process Assess training needs and coordinate training and career development programmes Manage disciplinary proceduresEmployee Relations:
Maintaining clear communication channels across the organisation Addressing employee concerns, managing conflict, and ensuring fair treatment of all employees Implement staff retention strategy
Compliance Management:
Ensure up-to-date HR policies, procedures, and compliance with labour legislation Oversee BEE, EE reporting and Skills Development compliance
Essential skills and qualifications
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial psychology, or a related field Experience – minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role Knowledge of Labor Laws:Thorough understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels and stakeholders Leadership Abilities:Ability to lead and motivate teams, build consensus, and make sound decisions Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to effectively resolve complex employee issues and conflicts Confidentiality:Maintaining discretion when handling sensitive employee and company informationRemuneration: R 50 000 to R 60 000 pm including Company Benefits such as Pension, Medical Aid etc
