Hyatt Centric Murano Venice is looking for an HR Manager that support and supervise some functional areas of human resources including but not to limited recruitment and employment, compensation, employee relations, health and safety, wellness and benefit programs, team member services, and special projects. This position will report to the General Manager directly.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Conduct the recruiting, selection and placement activities, initiates and maintains relationships with outside sources (e.g., Union, colleges, student associations, employment agencies, recruiters, etc.)Orienting new employees to the organizationPlans, implements and monitors the training as necessary and works closely with the HOD to improve employee’s skills and knowledgeResponsible to collecting and verify employees' documents and other tasks relating to payroll processUpdate and responsible for creating and implementing internal communications.Provides project support through development and execution of key processes, events and initiativesAssists in the planning, development, evaluation, implementation, and administration of human resources programs, policies, and procedures and their dissemination through the Human Resources policy manual, team member handbook, presentations, meetings, and other delivery methods.Manage the administration, communication and reporting of the hotel's benefits programSupports reinforcement of Hyatt’s ValuesHyatt Centric Murano Venice is looking for an HR Manager that support and supervise some functional areas of human resources including but not to limited recruitment and employment, compensation, employee relations, health and safety, wellness and benefit programs, team member services, and special projects. Knowledgeable of professional HR practices in Italy, Italian Labor Law, able to understand contractsExcellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, with proficiency in Excel, and the ability to learn HRIS system (Zucchetti)Verbal/written skills and presentation skillsExcellent organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills essentialStrong focus on training and reinforce company culture Ability to balance multiple projects at one time and ability to prioritize, problem solving skillsExperience working in Luxury hotel is mandatoryHigh School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or human resources certification preferred.At least 5 years’ experience in the administration of Human Resources programs such as engagement, recruitment, and leave of absence administration.Fluent in Italian and EnglishLegally allowed to work in Italy, holding a valid work permit for the countryWe offer:
