HR Generalist
Job Title: HR GeneralistJob Description We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to serve as a liaison between employees and management, assist leaders with performance management initiatives, and collaborate with talent management teams in recruitment and employee development. The ideal candidate will manage special projects in workforce management, strategic planning, and ensure compliance with Federal/State employment laws. Responsibilities + Serve as liaison between employees and management. + Assist leaders/managers with performance management initiatives, retention strategies, and employee development. + Collaborate with talent management teams in recruitment, new hire processing, posting announcements, job descriptions, diversity recruitment strategies, interviewing candidates, and other related tasks. + Manage special projects in workforce management, strategic planning, quarterly/monthly people data reports, and other ad-hoc tasks. + Collaborate on the sourcing and recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions. + Perform planned and impromptu investigations and audits to ensure compliance with EEO/AA/OFCC or Federal/State employment laws as it relates to hiring, training, transfers, or promotions. + Support implementation and sustainment of NCE. Essential Skills + Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Organizational Development, Communication, or Industrial Psychology preferred. + Minimum of one to three years of experience as an HR Generalist or equivalent HR experience. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and HRIS systems. Experience with PeopleSoft or SAP preferred. + Thorough understanding of Federal/State employment laws (e.g., EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, Unemployment Insurance Administration, and Workers Compensation). + Experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, and managing mediation and/or complaints. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficient mathematical and analytical skills to resolve complex issues involving people assets. + Superlative verbal and written communication skills with strengths in presentation. + Ability to work independently, reliably, and allocate time efficiently with limited direction. + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and multi-task several projects simultaneously. + Excellent interpersonal skills with flexibility in collaborations and relationship management. + Conscientious with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to explain complex HR matters clearly and concisely. Work Environment The work environment is fast-paced, requiring the ability to quickly adjust to new situations, assignments, and deadlines. You will be working independently with limited direction and collaborating with various teams. The role involves using standard office equipment and computer systems, including HRIS systems like PeopleSoft or SAP. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.75 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
