GENERAL FUNCTION

The HR Labor Cost Reporting Manager is responsible for managing all labor cost reporting across North America. This role produces accurate and timely reporting of all HR labor costs related to severances, relocations, immigration, bonuses, and other compensation-related expenses. The HR Labor Cost Reporting Manager collaborates with HR, Finance, and business unit leaders to analyze labor costs, providing insights that support workforce planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the reporting and analysis of labor costs, including severances, relocations, immigration, bonuses, and other labor-related expenses Develop regular reports on labor costs for senior management and finance, including a full labor cost estimate for EssilorLuxottica North America Provide variance analysis and insights to identify trends, forecast costs, and support decision-making regarding labor expenses Partner with HR, Compensation & Benefits, Finance, and business unit leaders to validate and ensure that labor cost data is accurately reflected in the financial statements, budgets, and forecasts Ensure alignment between HR and Finance on labor cost tracking and reporting for all special projects and severance costs, including compliance with internal policies and external regulations Manage workforce planning and budgeting efforts by providing detailed labor cost forecasts and insights Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all labor cost data across business segments. Monitor compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and financial regulations related to HR labor costs Create and maintain processes to enhance data quality and streamline reporting workflows Oversee the systems and tools used to track and report HR labor costs, ensuring they meet the organization's needs Work with IT, Finance, and HR to enhance data management systems and automate reporting tools Manage special projects such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other organizational changes that impact labor costs Lead initiatives to analyze the financial impact of compensation strategies, organizational restructurings, and large-scale workforce changes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 5+ years of experience in labor cost management, compensation or financial reporting Proficiency in financial systems, HRIS, and advanced Excel skills; experience with business intelligence tools Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present complex data to non-financial audience Understand variances, cost analysis and cost estimation. Easily identify financial errors, and synthesize complex data into clear actionable insights Research and find relevant information, verify, conduct investigations and estimate expense Manage and maintain sensitive and confidential information Collect data from various sources, assess validity of each data set and strive to eliminate errors, sort large amounts of data, meticulous detail orientation and instills procedures to validate accuracy of work Adapt to changing priorities, think critically, determine the key area of focus, assess broad economic trends, consider numerous factors affecting the labor market and try to anticipate its future performance

​Pay Range: 93,691.20  - 152,094.00 

 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
