At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re seeking a dedicated and resourceful HR Assistant (with Driving) to support our human resources operations in the fast-paced distribution sector. From recruitment coordination to reporting and system support, your efforts will help shape our workforce while ensuring smooth hiring processes that fuel our business success.
 
What You’ll Do – A Day in the Life
As our HR Assistant Specialist, you’ll support key HR functions and drive collaboration with local and regional HR teams, hiring managers, and external partners. This hybrid administrative and operational role involves a balance of office work and on-site visits, offering variety and valuable field exposure.

Your responsibilities will include: Supporting recruitment and employment processes, including phone interviews, screening, and coordinating assessments Managing job requisitions using the Vendor Management System (VMS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Running reports and analyzing workforce data for planning and performance tracking Collaborating with hiring managers and HR teams to address requisition needs and candidate selection Providing system training, troubleshooting support, and process guidance to HR users Traveling as needed within the district using your personal vehicle (approved mileage and travel expenses reimbursed) Maintaining flexibility for district assignments and working 40+ hours per week as needed  
What You’ll Bring – Qualifications
Required: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience (2+ years in HR or a related field) Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset Experience with recruitment processes and knowledge of employment laws Comfort with systems like ATS/VMS and Microsoft Office tools Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline Prior experience supporting workforce planning or managing HR data systems Familiarity with IQNavigator or similar VMS platforms

Pay Details: $20.40 to $30.60 per hour
