Description
Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused HR Assistant to join the team of a valued nonprofit client. This is an exceptional opportunity to support meaningful work in an organization dedicated to making a difference, while developing your career in human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide administrative support for all human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance.
+ Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems.
+ Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication.
+ Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, and training sessions.
+ Support the onboarding process by preparing necessary documentation and conducting orientation for new hires.
+ Assist with payroll administration by gathering and inputting necessary data.
+ Track and maintain employee certifications, performance reviews, and compliance with policies and procedures.
+ Prepare HR documentation including offer letters, employment verification forms, and other correspondence as needed.
Requirements
+ Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in an administrative or HR support role; prior experience in nonprofit organizations is a plus.
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday) is preferred.
+ Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
+ Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with a proactive and client-focused attitude.
+ Team Player: Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with cross-functional teams and diverse groups of individuals.
+ Certifications: HR certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus but not required.
