Eurofins Environment Testing Australia is an Environmental testing network of fully accredited laboratories. With a staff of over 300 our laboratories are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and with Client Service Offices located in Adelaide, Darwin, Newcastle and Wollongong. We also operate field sampling services out of Melbourne and Sydney. We specialise in all areas of Environmental analysis, including Contaminated Soil, Sludge, Sediments, Leachate, Soil Vapour, Trade Waste Effluents, Sewage Effluents, Stack Emissions, Work Place Air, Ambient Air, Dust, Drinking Water, Surface Water run off, River & Stream Monitoring, Seawater, and Groundwater. 

Job Description6 month fixed-term full time contract based in Dandenong South, VIC.Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.Excellent career development opportunity with a growing organisation and market leader in laboratory services.Benefits available under the existing EBA including an extra 1.5% superannuation on top of National standard rate.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager and working closely with the HR Business Partner, this role will work to provide operational support relating to general Human Resources, recruitment, employment events and HR projects across Australia.

Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:

Preparing, coordinating and organising confidential documentation such as,  employment contracts, variations of employment and employment letters.Supporting with recruitment activities as required and managing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by publishing job ads, updating candidate statuses and keeping the system up to date in conjunction with recruitment processes.Supporting employee onboarding, induction and off-boarding processes.Responding and looking into queries.Supporting with preparing and filing documentation related to employment relations / IR including performance management, employee grievances, restructures or similar.Working with the HRBP and management in developing and reporting on key HR metrics and identifying continuous areas of improvement along with documenting and implementing strategies.Assisting in coordinating and organizing employment engagement activities and events, employment anniversaries and farewells.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will obtain the following:

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent.Proven experience in Human Resources or administrative support positions is desirable.Good knowledge of standard office applications, especially Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and Adobe.Tech saavy with general knowledge about systems and IT.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to understand, interpret and meet stakeholder needs.Strong time management skills with ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, adapt and deliver.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.General preference and comfort in technical environments.High level of initiative and self motivation with desire to continually learn and improve.Ability to be a hands-on hard worker and a ‘doer’ with a common sense approach.Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information and be descrete as appropriate.
