Summary:
The HR Administrative Assistant will ensure excellent HR assistance and support for internal and external customers as well as efficient HR department operations. The HR Administrative Assistant will be involved in administrative responsibilities in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee records, and coordinating HR information within department and across the organization.

Experience/Education Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent required with college-level coursework preferred.Previous office experience required, minimum 2 years Human Resources experience preferred.Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to learn additional software applications.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Must be a critical thinker and problem-solver with the ability to manager multiple priorities.Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing at all levels in the organization.Effective communication skills, Ability to Maintain Confidentiality, Accuracy and Quality of Work required, Adaptability to changing work demands, Dependability, Problem Solving, Planning/Organizing, Orienting Employees, Teamwork, strong Microsoft Office Skills, Understanding of HR role and processes.

Responsibilities:

Accurately files documents into electronic HR record.Assist with data migration as new software or other projects are identified and implemented.Assist with Job Description updates.Assist with License & Certification renewal steps.Assist with new hire onboarding as needed, helping with making employee badges and entering direct deposit.Assist with Worker's Compensation and unemployment workflows.Assist with scheduling interviews as needed.Processes tuition reimbursement requests.Supports administrative tasks of the employee wellness program.Accurately tracks legal billing expenses and completes related tasks.Supports administration of the employee food pantry.Provides quality HR support and service to all HR managers and their areas of responsibility to enable efficient and effective HR operations.Supports HR team and leadership with any special projects, reporting needs, and tracking.
