Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking Housing Front Desk Staff. - Jupiter, FL.

The Front Desk Staff (FDS) is a student staff member responsible for providing customer service and promoting a safe, healthy, and welcoming community at a 24-hour front desk.  

Summary of responsibilities:

Work at the front desk on a rotating basis as determined by supervisor, including overnight and weekend shifts. 

Engage with students, visitors, and guests to offer proactive and immediate customer service.  

Answer the phone, facilitate spare key check-ins/outs, check space reservations, and other service-oriented tasks.  

Perform relevant administrative tasks (incident reports, shift reports, work orders, etc.). 

Monitor the community and report any concerns (e.g., safety, security, and wellbeing). 

Implement the Atlantic Experience through engagement strategies at the front desk.  

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.5 GPA required.

Salary:

$14 per hour.
