Position is responsible for retrieving/distributing Team member uniforms. Additional responsibilities include putting up clean garments on rail. Collecting and separating soiled uniforms, scanning and maintaining records for tracking of all uniforms.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Responsible for opening and closing the uniform departmentIssues clean uniforms to employees as dirty ones are turned in (one for one basis onlyMaintains all uniform/linen logsAssures compliance with uniform and linen control proceduresIssues General Store itemsAssists with weekly inventories of suppliesAssists with monthly inventory of uniformsPerforms minor mending tasks when alterations is not present.Serve employees uniform needs in a friendly, accurate and professional mannerWorks to benefit the hotel by adhering to hotel standards, rules and regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned by the SupervisorKeep control of all condemned uniformsCollects soiled uniforms from employees and processes for cleaningReceives and inspects soiled uniforms for damage and/or stainsSeparates damaged/stained uniforms for special processingChecks pockets and removes foreign articlesTurns found articles over to Security/Lost and FoundSorts and bags uniforms for transport to laundryCompletes employee uniform laundry inventory formRe-supplies guest amenity trays daily (Pick Station)Complete daily checklists and order formsSupportive Functions and Responsibilities
