Job Summary: Oversees the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations, adherence to cleanliness standards, and compliance with safety protocols while effectively managing labor budgets and inventory. The Details: Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: late-April through September or October 2025 (exact dates vary by location) Pay: Starting at $1,760.00 bi-weekly Schedule: Typical schedule is 50-55 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why Glacier National Park? Monitor and develop staff through performance observations, evaluations, and counseling. Keep labor budgets for housekeeping staff in line with the budget issued by the Lodging Department. Report the daily and weekly reports accurately. Monitor designated inventories and proper supplies through Supply Inventory System. Make sure Personal Protective Equipment is being followed at all times. Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be organized and detail-oriented to ensure quality expectations and standards are met. At least one year of experience working in a hotel environment. Some experience in a Housekeeping management/supervisory role. Ability to perform all tasks required of the housekeeping team on property. Ability to speak with others using clear and professional language. Ability to lead housekeeping team to reach common goals and deadlines. Must be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office. A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is preferred. Physical Requirements include: Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the day. Constant lifting and carrying of supplies and linens throughout the shift. Making beds, bending, kneeling, stretching, and reaching as needed for up to 8 hours per shift. Standing for long periods of time, frequent walking up and down stairs, as well as in outdoor areas sporadically throughout the shift. Pushing a hotel cart or cabin cart up to 50-75 pounds as needed.
