As the Inspector, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions that keep the park running smoothly. Job Summary: Housekeeping Inspectors are responsible for supervision of Room Attendants, ensuring that guest units are cleaned properly and in a timely manner by inspecting guest units continuously and thoroughly, and working together as a tight knit team in indoor and outdoor settings. The Details: Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: April 2025 - November 2025 Pay: $17.50/hr Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why Yellowstone National Park? Responsibilities Provide our guests with the best in service, courtesy, and care. Provide supervision of Room Attendants, ensuring that guest units are cleaned properly and in a timely manner by inspecting guest units continuously and thoroughly. Communicate with the Housekeeping Manager/Assistant Manager on Room Attendant progress and concerns. Report ready rooms promptly after every round, by phone or computer. Strive to complete rooms by 4:00 pm each day. Comply with Housekeeping policies and procedures. Comply with proper biohazard cleanup procedures. Comply with environmental policies and procedures. Comply with proper Lost & Found policies and procedures, promptly tag and return items. Comply with Key Security and other guest security policies and procedures. Lead the staff and particularly Room Attendants in daily dynamic stretches; promote safe work practices at all times. Enforce and comply with the Housekeeping chemical use and room cleaning procedures. Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents including wearing proper Personal Protection Equipment. Address unsafe conditions and maintenance concerns immediately by turning in maintenance Service Requests. Maintain linen room cleanliness and related equipment such as vacuums, radios, etc. Qualifications Organizational skills. Time management skills. Computer/phone skills. The ability to follow instruction and count accurately. Follow work patterns consistently Ability to communicate well and offer effective supervision. Physical Requirements include Stretching, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and climbing up and down stairs each shift. The ability to push 50-75 pounds on a daily basis, moving carts and bins. Working with required chemicals daily. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
