Job Summary: Supports Room Attendants by ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and hotel premises are clean and orderly through various tasks. The Details: Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: May through October 2025 (exact dates vary by location) Pay: $14.60/hr + tips Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why Glacier National Park? Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas. Strip guest linens and terry from departure rooms. Remove trash and recycling from departed guest rooms. Each house person is responsible for stripping at a minimum 35 rooms before lunch break. Properly stock linen closets and housekeeping carts with clean linen and terry and guest room supplies. Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping vacuums, closets, storage rooms, and other equipment. Make sure Personal Protective Equipment is being followed at all times. Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be detail-oriented to ensure quality expectations and standards are met. Ability to do basic math. Must be able to work well with others and can speak with others using clear and professional language. Must have the ability to support housekeeping team to reach common goals. Valid U.S. Driver License and clean driving record preferred. Physical Requirements include: Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the day. May need to haul items up and down stairs. Constant lifting and carrying of supplies and linens throughout the day. Making beds, bending, kneeling, stretching, and reaching as needed for up to 8 hours per shift. Standing for long periods of time, frequent walking up and down stairs, as well as in outdoor areas sporadically throughout the day. Pushing a hotel cart or cabin cart up to 350 pounds as needed.
