Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

Operation

Conduct daily briefings with staff at floor level. Manage and supervise all tasks of his/her teamEnsure cleanliness of guest rooms, guest room balconies, guest corridors, linen rooms and housekeeping pantries according to standards and procedures setSupervise public areasReplenish guest supplies and ensure that guests requests are promptly attended toAttend to reports on damage or malfunction in hotel roomsMaintain equipment in proper state of cleanlinessMaintain a section floor reportConduct regular room checklistsReport unusual behavior/activities on floors to Executive HousekeeperRecord room status in allocated section accuratelyAssist Executive Housekeeper in assessing team members’ attendance and performance

Other Responsibilities

 

Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures

 

Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management

 

Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times

 

Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by the Management

 

Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships
Qualifications
Primary school educationGood oral proficiency in English languageMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacityAbility to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
