You will deliver outstanding service through friendly interactions, efficient room upkeep, and cleanliness. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Guest Room & Public Area Maintenance:** + Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and laundry in alignment with established protocols. + Remove used and unused linens, disinfect high-touch surfaces, and ensure cleanliness of all amenities. + Clean and sanitize bathrooms, polish furniture, and maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the room. + Remake beds with clean linens, replace burned-out light bulbs, and replenish supplies like drinking glasses, writing materials, and toiletries. + Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash properly. + **Laundry & Linen Care:** + Examine and sort laundry based on fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements. + Use laundry equipment and safe chemical treatments to clean and press linens to perfection. + **Organizational Duties:** + Operate and maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas, ensuring they are properly stocked with linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. + Ensure the organization and cleanliness of all work areas. + **Public Area Management:** + Conduct rounds to ensure public areas remain disinfected, clean, and in order, taking necessary action to replace or repair any items out of place. + **Safety & Preventative Maintenance:** + Follow all safety protocols to protect hotel property and guest belongings. + Report any damage, theft, or found items to the supervisor immediately. + Perform deep cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks, utilizing proper equipment when applicable. + **Team Support:** + Assist in training newly hired associates and help with their ongoing performance development. + **Compliance:** + Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and maintenance. + Report equipment problems, safety hazards, or unsafe work conditions to leadership immediately. **What We Look for in a Successful Housekeeping Associate:** + **Experience:** + Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
