Beth Abraham Center is hiring a Resident Service Aide in Bronx, NY.

Part Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Twice a week).

Duties and Requirements:

Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areasEnsure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all timesRemoval of trash & soiled linens. Collects, sorts, washes, dries, folds and distributes all laundry items to residentsPresses/irons garments as requestedLabels residents’ personal laundry and linens as directedCleans dryer filters as necessaryEnsures adequate supply of laundry supplies are in stockNotifies supervisor when supplies are lowKeeps laundry carts clean and in good working orderProperly stores equipment, tools and suppliesKeeps a log of missing items, and returns them when foundReports any mechanical or equipment needs to supervisorReports any questionable resident conditions to supervisorMust be able to work as a team memberSolid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer serviceMinimum of high school diploma or equivalentMust be reliable & keep to scheduleMust be a Legal Citizen of the United States of America
