House Supervisor RN

**Responsibilities**
As our RN – House Supervisor at CHI Williston Health, you will direct and supervise nursing staff under the guidance of department managers in their absence. Promote and maintains continuity of care for patients and responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating all care during assigned shift. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.
+ Responsible for supervising nursing units in the absence of unit managers.
+ Active participant of calculating and monitoring Hours Per Patient Days along with acuity of patients, in relationship to staffing units accurately, safely, and cost effective under the direction of the unit manager.
+ Utilizes nursing personnel effectively, assists with required scheduling, staffing and assignments, and collaborates with other department managers/supervisors/charge to ensure smooth coordination of services to patients, enhances patient flow within the facility, and efficient admission/discharge/transfer processes
+ Receives report from off-going shift, give report to oncoming shift, and makes rounds
+ Open on-going dialog with unit managers.
+ Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies

**Qualifications**
**Required Education and Experience Education:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, required.
+ Minimum of three (3) years of RN experience, and one (1) year of leadership experience, required.
+ Previous supervisory experience in Critical Access Hospital, preferred
**Required Licensure and Certifications:**
+ Registered Nurse: North Dakota (RN:ND), upon hire required.
+ Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), upon hire required.
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), upon hire required.
+ Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR), upon hire required.

**Pay Range**
$36.96 - $53.60 /hour
